Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-09-22

1. Operator and contact

DayWith is run by an individual developer. Privacy and support contact: DayWith Team, team.daywith@gmail.com. The developer handles inquiries directly.

2. Information and purposes

Task titles, notes, dates, recurrence, categories, completion and focus records, experience points, rewards, room and character state, and preferences are stored on your device to provide features. The app and widget share necessary local data. No separate account is required. Personal records are not collected on an operator-run server or sent to an external AI service.

When you send a service inquiry, your email address, message and attachments you provide are processed as needed to respond. Service inquiries are handled on the basis of entering into or performing a contract under Article 15(1)(4) of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.

3. Sync and optional permissions

When iCloud is available, personal records and supported preferences sync automatically to your private iCloud storage. Changes remain on the device while iCloud is unavailable and are sent when it becomes available. Manage access in iOS settings.

Enabling calendar integration requests full access to display selected event titles, times and locations, and export eligible task titles, times and recurrence to a dedicated calendar. Some edits to linked events update the task. External calendar sync follows that account's settings.

Notifications and alarms are scheduled through iOS. Task content may appear in widgets and notifications. Calendar, notification and alarm permissions are optional and can be revoked in iOS settings without losing core task features.

4. Ads and privacy choices

DayWith uses Google AdMob and its consent tool UMP. After checking consent status and handling required forms, it preloads ads if requests are permitted. Network activity may therefore occur before you tap to watch an ad.

The Google SDK may process IP addresses and approximate location, device identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic and performance data for advertising, measurement, abuse prevention, diagnostics and consent management. DayWith does not directly include task titles, notes or calendar content in ad requests.

On iOS, we may request permission to track for personalized advertising and ad measurement. If you allow tracking, the Google advertising SDK can use your advertising identifier (IDFA) and link information with data collected from other companies’ apps and websites to personalize ads or measure their performance. If you decline, you can still use the app’s core features, and ads may be shown without IDFA according to your ad privacy choices. Open iOS Settings from App Tracking in the app’s settings to change your choice.

Where available, use Ad privacy choices in Settings to change your choices. See How Google uses information from partner apps. Core features do not require watching ads.

5. External services and overseas processing

Personal records and settings selected for synchronization are transmitted to and stored in Apple iCloud. Inquiry emails and attachments you send are received and stored using Google Gmail. iCloud is used through your Apple account and settings; the operator cannot browse your private storage. Section 6 explains how inquiry materials are retained and deleted.

Google AdMob and UMP directly collect and process information from the app for advertising and consent management. Section 4 describes the data, purposes, timing, and available choices. The operator does not provide task, note, or calendar content in Google ad requests.

Apple and Google operate services in multiple countries, so information may be processed outside your country of residence. Their processing, retention, international transfers, and privacy rights procedures are described in the Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. Google retention periods vary by data type and settings; see its data retention information.

6. Retention and deletion

Personal records remain while you keep them. Deleted tasks and categories can be restored for 30 days, after which app cleanup clears their content. Identifiers, deletion state and some completion and reward records may remain for sync conflict prevention and history.

Deletion also syncs to iCloud. Removing the app or revoking permissions does not delete all iCloud data or exported events. Manage deletion through iCloud storage settings and Calendar.

Support email, attachments and separately saved copies are permanently deleted without undue delay once the inquiry's purpose is fulfilled. Information subject to statutory retention is kept separately for the required period and then deleted.

7. Your rights

You or your legal representative can contact the email above to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or withdrawal of consent. For private device or iCloud records the operator does not hold, the operator will explain the relevant app and iOS controls. Change permissions and ad choices as described above.

8. Protection and changes

Personal records are stored in the device's app storage and private iCloud storage. Access to support information is limited to the operator as needed to handle inquiries. Changes to this policy and their effective date will be announced in the app or on a public page.
